Freedom Cycles is our bespoke self-guided bike tour of the most historic town in the North West of Ireland. Select one of our range of bikes from mountain, hybrid to touring and take off around the city and surrounds with our unique handy guide to the colourful sights.

These include some recently made popular Derry Girl locations, as well as quiet nooks for a comfortable stop off to sample the best coffee and snacks the city provides. Include visits to local museums and Troubles-era landmarks, and it all makes up for a wild ride through the fastest changing wee city in Ireland, hey!

We have a wide range of disability/accessible cycles available on request for accessible cycling- please inquire.

Rates available for half-day and full day hire with call out support in case of a minor crisis!

I have been making the outdoors both my work and passion for over 10 years now- and every activity brings new people, new places, and new discoveries. What keeps me smiling is discovering the depth of Ireland’s natural heritage- and how people take to it so positively. I have been working with community leaders in Aotearoa/New Zealand for years to understand our own indigenous identity.
